Job Overview

A law firm seeks a mid-level Commercial Finance Associate to join their Finance & Banking Practice Group in Washington, DC. Candidates with 3 to 5 years of experience in complex commercial finance transactions are encouraged to apply. Outstanding candidates from other locations may also be considered.

Duties

• Handle complex commercial finance transactions.
• Draft and negotiate loan documentation.
• Represent borrowers or lenders in commercial finance transactions.
• Work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Requirements

• 3 to 5 years of experience in commercial finance transactions.
• Knowledge of the Uniform Commercial Code and secured transactions.
• Experience in leveraged finance.
• Licensed and in good standing in the state of practice.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Bar admission in the state of practice.

Skills

• Strong drafting and negotiation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects efficiently.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
