Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Remote Litigation Associate based in Pittsburgh, PA. This position involves defending and litigating employment-related claims and agency charges. The role is available nationwide in any state where the firm maintains an office.

Duties

  • Defend and litigate lawsuits involving employment-related claims and agency charges.
  • Advise, counsel, and train employers on employment and labor law issues.
  • Represent employers in court, arbitration, and before administrative agencies.
  • Handle class/collective actions, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage and hour, contract, employment tort, and non-compete cases.

Requirements

  • JD from an ABA-accredited law school with excellent academic credentials.
  • 4+ years of experience in California employment litigation for Associate role.
  • 9+ years of relevant California experience for Of Counsel level, with first chair capacity.
  • Admission to the CA state bar and compliance with ethical requirements.
  • Understanding of current state and federal agency procedures.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Admission to the California State Bar.
