Job Overview

A law firm seeks an Intellectual Property Associate in San Francisco, CA. The firm is looking for judicial clerks with a minimum of one year of experience, preferably in a federal court, to join their Intellectual Property Litigation practice. Candidates should have two to six years of prior law firm experience in intellectual property and/or patent litigation.

Duties

• Engage in intellectual property and patent litigation.
• Conduct thorough legal research and draft legal documents.

Requirements

• Current experience as a judicial clerk for at least one year.
• Two to six years of prior law firm experience.
• Excellent research, writing, and communication skills.
• Membership to the State Bar of the office location.

Education

• Bachelor's or higher degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent preferred.

Salaries are in line with other top Bay Area firms, and the firm provides a $10,000 bonus for all lawyers who bill at least 1,950 hours, with additional money based on three separate billable-hour levels above 1,950.
