Job Overview

A law firm seeks a talented attorney with over three years of relevant experience to join their Executive Compensation and Governance Practice Group in Bloomfield Hills. The ideal candidate will possess strong academic credentials, excellent communication skills, and a passion for sophisticated executive compensation and governance work.

Duties

  • Communicate confidently with senior executives and board members.
  • Design and draft incentive plans, including profits interest programs and stock option plans.
  • Draft executive employment, severance, and change-in-control agreements.
  • Advise on SEC disclosures related to executive compensation and governance.
  • Handle executive compensation issues in corporate transactions.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of relevant experience in executive compensation or mergers and acquisitions.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree.
