Fund Services Senior Counsel

Job Overview

A law firm seeks a highly qualified Fund Services Senior Counsel in Boston. The candidate will lead and deepen the practice, representing leading venture capital and growth equity firms in the U.S. and internationally, guiding clients through every stage of the fund life cycle.

Duties

• Lead the structuring, formation, and operation of investment funds.
• Advise clients on legal, regulatory, and compliance matters.
• Provide expertise on the Securities Act, Exchange Act, Investment Company Act, and Investment Advisers Act.
• Represent investors in private investment funds.
• Advise on all aspects of investment programs.

Requirements

• 8+ years of fund formation experience.
• Experience at a national or international law firm.
• Superior academic credentials.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Bar admission in good standing.
