Job Overview:
A distinguished law firm is seeking a senior-level Immigration Partner with extensive experience in business immigration to lead and expand its corporate immigration practice. This leadership opportunity is ideal for an attorney with a strong client portfolio and a passion for providing strategic legal solutions to multinational employers. The role involves high-level advisory work, team leadership, and active business development in a collaborative legal environment.

Location:

  • Saratoga Springs, NY

Duties:

  • Advise clients on a wide range of business immigration matters, including:

    • Nonimmigrant visa categories: E-1, E-2, H-1B, L-1, O-1

    • Immigrant petitions: EB-1, EB-2, EB-3

    • Adjustment of status and related immigration processes

  • Develop and implement strategic immigration plans for corporate clients

  • Counsel clients on risk mitigation and compliance with U.S. immigration laws

  • Monitor and interpret changes in immigration policy and regulatory updates

  • Collaborate with cross-practice teams to offer holistic legal solutions

  • Serve as a mentor to junior attorneys and legal staff

  • Lead business development initiatives by leveraging existing relationships and identifying new opportunities

  • Support firm growth through client acquisition and retention strategies

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in business immigration law

  • Proven ability to manage a portfolio of corporate immigration clients

  • Demonstrated leadership in client service, legal team management, and practice growth

  • Experience advising multinational corporations and managing high-volume immigration matters

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Active license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction

  • Admission to the New York or New Jersey bar preferred, based on office location

Skills:

  • In-depth knowledge of U.S. employment-based immigration law

  • Exceptional written, verbal, and analytical communication skills

  • Strong business acumen and client management capabilities

  • Ability to work collaboratively across legal disciplines
