Job Overview

A law firm seeks an experienced Litigation Associate for its Antitrust Practice Group in New York. The successful candidate will play a key role in advocating for economic justice by addressing marketplace wrongs through strategic litigation.

Duties

• Advise clients on antitrust laws and their business implications.
• Represent clients before regulatory bodies and courts on antitrust issues.
• Prepare and file legal documents such as complaints, motions, and briefs.
• Conduct research and analysis of legal problems.
• Engage in negotiation and mediation to resolve disputes.
• Interpret laws, rulings, and regulations for individuals and businesses.
• Evaluate findings and develop strategies for case presentations.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in complex litigation at a defense or plaintiff
• Proficient in researching and drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery materials.
• Experience taking and defending depositions.
• Strong communication skills for engaging clients, juries, opposing counsel, and judges.
• Ability to manage multiple cases independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Advanced legal research skills with expertise in case law and statutes.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active license to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction(s), in good standing with the state bar.
