Experienced Attorney

Job Overview

A law firm seeks an experienced attorney to join its team in Houston, Texas. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in personal injury law and a passion for advocating on behalf of clients. This role requires a dedicated professional with a proven track record in a plaintiffs' side law firm environment.

Duties

• Independently manage a caseload from beginning to end.
• Collaborate with other attorneys and partners on various legal projects.
• Handle court appearances and depositions regularly.
• Lead client communications and provide meaningful updates.

Requirements

• Five to six years of experience practicing law.
• Experience in a plaintiffs' side law firm environment.
• Jones Act / Maritime experience is a plus.
• Licensed and in good standing with the State of Texas.

Education

• Juris Doctorate required.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in Texas.

Skills

• Strong academic and litigation background.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
