Duties

  • Draft, review, and revise a wide range of estate planning documents, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and advance directives

  • Provide strategic advice to clients on wealth preservation, tax planning, and estate administration

  • Represent fiduciaries, beneficiaries, and other interested parties in trust and estate matters

  • Coordinate with financial advisors, tax professionals, and other stakeholders to implement complex planning strategies

  • Maintain and grow client relationships through attentive service and proactive legal counsel

  • Stay current with relevant laws and regulations affecting estate planning and probate matters

  • Contribute to internal knowledge-sharing and firm development efforts

Requirements

  • Experience in estate planning, probate, and trust administration

  • Experience managing client relationships independently and handling sophisticated planning needs

  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with clients and colleagues

  • Some portable business is required

Education

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications

  • Licensed and in good standing to practice law in the State of Texas
