Job Overview

A law firm seeks an Estate Planning and Probate Attorney in Fort Worth, Texas. This role offers experienced attorneys the opportunity to focus on probate litigation, including guardianships, will contests, and trust disputes, without the need to generate new business leads.

Duties

  • Manage and oversee trust and estate planning matters, including drafting wills and trusts.
  • Handle all aspects of probate and estate administration to ensure legal compliance.
  • Provide expert legal advice on estate planning, wealth preservation, and probate litigation.
  • Conduct thorough legal research and prepare detailed legal documents.
  • Represent clients in court proceedings as necessary.
  • Collaborate with clients, financial advisors, and other professionals to develop comprehensive estate plans.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years, preferably 6 years, experience in estate planning and probate matters.
  • Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
  • Bar admission in the state of Texas, with at least 2 years of licensure.
  • Working knowledge of drafting and client management software, such as TxDoc or Clio.
  • Proficient with MS Office or Google Suite.

Education
