Duties

• Represent clients in state and federal courts in a range of commercial litigation matters

• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and settlement agreements

• Analyze laws, regulations, and facts to develop strategic case plans

• Prepare evidence and organize case files for court appearances

• Participate in client meetings, settlement negotiations, and mediations

• Support senior attorneys in trial preparation and courtroom presentations

• Maintain timely and effective communication with clients regarding case status and legal options

Requirements

• 2–7 years of litigation experience, preferably in commercial or civil litigation

• Ability to manage case work independently while collaborating with legal teams

• Strong written and oral advocacy skills

• Demonstrated attention to detail and critical thinking capabilities

• Experience drafting and reviewing complex legal documents

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications

• Active license to practice law in the State of Maryland (required)
