A law firm seeks a Family Law Associate Attorney to join its practice group in Dallas, TX. The role involves providing legal representation and guidance in family law matters, including divorce, child custody, and adoption. The attorney will develop tailored legal strategies, draft legal documents, negotiate settlements, and represent clients in court.

Duties

  • Conduct thorough legal research and analysis on family law issues.
  • Draft and review legal documents, including petitions, motions, and settlement agreements.
  • Represent clients in court hearings, mediations, and negotiations.
  • Provide clients with clear and timely updates on their cases and legal options.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys and support staff to ensure effective case management.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active license to practice law in the state of Texas.
  • At least 2-5 years of experience in family law or a related field.

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience with complex family law cases.
  • Familiarity with mediation and alternative dispute resolution processes.
