A law firm is actively seeking a Real Estate Senior Associate or Income Partner with a minimum of 5 years of experience in handling sophisticated commercial real estate transactions. The successful candidate will be pivotal in contributing to the firm's real estate practice and will be based in Chicago, IL.

Duties:

  • Lead and manage sophisticated commercial real estate transactions.
  • Provide legal advice and support on real estate matters, including acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, financing, and development.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their real estate goals and tailor legal solutions accordingly.
  • Conduct due diligence and title reviews for real estate transactions.
  • Draft and negotiate complex real estate agreements and contracts.
  • Stay abreast of changes in real estate laws and regulations.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in sophisticated commercial real estate transactions.
  • Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the State Bar.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing complex real estate transactions.
  • Strong understanding of real estate laws, regulations, and industry practices.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the State Bar.

Skills:

  • In-depth knowledge of sophisticated commercial real estate transactions.
  • Strong legal research and analytical skills.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
