Job Overview

A law firm seeks an Energy and Infrastructure Associate for its Sacramento, CA office. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience in energy and infrastructure project finance, tax equity, and/or mergers and acquisitions.

Duties

  • Assist in the structuring and financing of energy and infrastructure projects.
  • Collaborate with a global team of attorneys on complex transactions.
  • Provide legal advice on tax equity and M&A matters.
  • Draft and negotiate project finance documents.

Requirements

  • Minimum of two years of relevant legal experience.
  • Strong understanding of energy and infrastructure sectors.
  • Experience in project finance, tax equity, or M&A preferred.
  • Member of the State Bar of California, admitted in good standing.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Admission to the State Bar of California.

Salaries are in line with other top Bay Area firms, and the firm provides a $10,000 bonus for all lawyers who bill at least 1,950 hours, with additional money based on three separate billable hour levels above 1,950.
