Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Tax Associate in Chicago, Illinois. The successful candidate will join a dynamic team handling M&A and joint venture transactions, cross-border transactions, securitizations, restructurings, and emerging company, private equity, and hedge fund representations.

Duties

• Collaborate on M&A and joint venture transactions.
• Advise on cross-border transactions and securitizations.
• Engage in restructurings and emerging company representations.
• Support private equity and hedge fund clients.

Requirements

• Minimum of four years of transactional tax experience.
• Experience with corporate and partnership tax issues.
• Admitted or eligible to seek admission to the Illinois bar.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree required.

Certifications

• Admission to the Illinois bar or eligibility to seek admission.

Skills
