Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Technology and Life Sciences Transactions Associate in Chicago. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in technology transactions, including in-licensing, outbound licensing, and collaboration agreements, as well as handling IP aspects of mergers and acquisitions. Broad experience with technology companies is preferred.

Duties

• Negotiate and draft technology transaction agreements.
• Advise on IP aspects of mergers, acquisitions, and joint ventures.
• Collaborate with clients on development and commercial arrangements.

Requirements

• 5+ years of technology transactions experience.
• Admitted or eligible for prompt admission to the Illinois bar.
• Experience with technology companies preferred.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in Illinois or eligible for admission.

Skills
