Duties

• Conduct thorough legal research using platforms such as Lexis-Nexis

• Draft litigation documents, including pleadings, motions, and correspondence

• Represent clients at hearings, trials, and evidentiary proceedings

• Manage and maintain client relationships, providing clear updates and advice

• Collaborate with attorneys and support staff to develop effective litigation strategies

• Negotiate settlements when appropriate to achieve client objectives

• Stay updated on Florida and Federal laws and regulations

• Accurately track and record billable hours

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of civil litigation experience

• Demonstrated ability to draft litigation documents with minimal supervision

• Strong familiarity with Florida and Federal Rules of Procedure

• Evidentiary hearing and trial experience preferred

• Proven ability to work as an integral part of a legal team

• High level of attention to detail and client service orientation

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications

• Active license to practice law in Florida (required)
