Job Overview

A law firm seeks a team-oriented Tax Associate to join their Tax group in Chicago, Cincinnati, Cleveland, Columbus, Dayton, Denver, Detroit, Indianapolis, or Minneapolis. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a law firm, in-house, or tax consulting role, focusing on renewable energy tax credits.

Duties

• Collaborate with the Tax group on renewable energy tax credit projects.
• Document and negotiate tax equity transactions.
• Draft tax credit transfer agreements for sponsors or investors.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
• Strong understanding of investment tax credits.
• Experience in tax equity transactions preferred.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree required.

Certifications

• Bar admission in the relevant state.
