Duties:

• Evaluate complex factual and legal issues, perform in-depth legal research, and formulate tailored defense approaches

• Draft advanced-level pleadings, discovery materials, deposition outlines, legal motions, and supporting briefs

• Deliver clear, concise legal opinions and strategic updates to clients and claims representatives

• Maintain professional communication with judicial officers, expert witnesses, co-counsel, and opposing parties

• Manage caseloads efficiently with a focus on timely and effective resolution

• Represent clients at trials, arbitration hearings, mediations, and other legal proceedings

Requirements:

• Active license to practice law in Pennsylvania

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in litigation or insurance defense

• Proficiency in taking/defending depositions, drafting discovery documents, preparing motions, and presenting oral arguments

• Demonstrated legal writing ability and analytical thinking

• Strong time management, case organization, and attention to procedural details

• Self-driven work ethic and professional accountability

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Admission to the Pennsylvania Bar (Admission in additional jurisdictions, such as New Jersey or Delaware, is advantageous)

Skills:

• Strong courtroom presence and confidence in litigation settings
