Duties

• Represent clients in the pursuit of disability benefits before the SSA.
• Create and maintain strong attorney-client relationships.
• Assist in all levels of the SSA disability process from application through appeals.
• Maintain a steady caseload of hearings with integrity and compassion.
• Conduct regular communication with clients and other entities.
• Contact prospective clients to screen and accept viable cases.
• Support department and firm goals through effective communication and leadership.
• Complete all tasks in a timely manner, focusing on deadlines.

Requirements

• Active member in good standing with the State Bar of Michigan.
• Experience in Social Security and capable of conducting hearings.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in Michigan.
