A law firm seeks a Social Security Attorney in Troy, MI. This full-time position offers a hybrid work schedule with one day a week in the office. The role involves representing clients in disability benefit cases, maintaining client relationships, and working closely with partners to achieve business objectives.

Duties

• Represent clients in disability benefit cases before the SSA.
• Build and maintain strong attorney-client relationships.
• Assist in all levels of the SSA disability process, from application to appeals.
• Manage a caseload of hearings with integrity and compassion.
• Communicate regularly with clients and other entities, maintaining a positive firm image.
• Screen and accept viable disability cases as needed.
• Support firm goals through effective communication and leadership.
• Complete tasks timely, focusing on deadlines and addressing issues promptly.

Requirements

• Active member in good standing with the State Bar of Michigan.
• Experience in Social Security and capable of conducting hearings.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in Michigan.
