A law firm seeks a highly capable Associate Attorney specializing in Tax and Estate Planning in Irvine, CA. The successful candidate will work on foundational and advanced estate planning matters, providing expert legal advice and drafting customized documents for clients.

Duties

• Work on advanced estate and income tax planning matters.
• Draft foundational and advanced estate planning documents.
• Advise clients on revocable living trusts and irrevocable gift trusts.
• Research estate planning and tax issues.
• Evaluate and update template documents and procedures.

Requirements

• J.D. from an accredited law school; member in good standing of the California Bar.
• Minimum of 3 years of estate planning experience.
• Strong drafting skills and attention to detail.
• Strong knowledge of estate and gift tax.
• LL.M. in taxation or estate planning preferred.
• Broad knowledge of corporate matters affecting closely held companies is helpful.
• Ability to interact comfortably with clients and management.
• Ability to adapt and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to professionalism and flexibility in project types.

Education

• J.D. from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Member in good standing of the California Bar.
