Job Overview

A law firm seeks a skilled Litigation Attorney to join their team in Los Angeles, CA. Duties

• Manage a caseload involving defense litigation in State and Federal courts.
• Conduct legal research, draft motions and pleadings, and appear in court hearings.
• Take and defend depositions; attend mediations.
• Collaborate with partners and senior attorneys in trial preparation and courtroom proceedings.
• Independently handle litigation tasks with limited supervision.

Requirements

• Active admission to the State Bar of California.
• 4+ years of civil litigation experience.
• Experience handling day-to-day civil litigation matters, including legal research, drafting and arguing motions, representing clients in State and Federal court, and conducting depositions.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active State Bar of California license.
