Job Overview
A law firm seeks an experienced Labor and Employment Attorney in Los Angeles, CA. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years of experience in labor and employment law, with strong research, writing, and case management skills. Experience with public entity law is preferred but not required.

Duties

• Represent clients in various labor and employment matters, including litigation and advisory work.
• Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and memoranda, and manage discovery.
• Oversee cases from inception through resolution, including depositions and trial preparation.
• Provide strategic legal counsel on employment-related issues.
• Work both independently and collaboratively within the firm's legal team.

Requirements

• Minimum of five years' experience in labor and employment law.
• Strong research, writing, and analytical skills with the ability to draft clear, persuasive legal documents.
• Proven ability to handle multiple cases efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with public entity law is a plus but not required.
• Active California Bar license in good standing.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications
