Job Overview

A distinguished law firm is seeking a Senior Corporate Project Finance Associate with 5–9 years of experience to join its Corporate Practice Group. This position focuses on project finance, including debt and tax equity, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), and renewable energy-related transactions. The role involves managing deals, leading teams, and producing client-ready work, offering opportunities to work on mid-market and larger transactions in the solar, wind, and energy storage sectors.

Duties

  • Manage and lead complex project finance transactions involving debt and tax equity.
  • Oversee mergers and acquisitions (M&A) with a focus on renewable energy projects.
  • Negotiate and draft agreements for complex corporate transactions.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across offices and practice groups.
  • Independently produce client-ready legal documents.

Requirements

  • 5–9 years of experience in project finance, debt and tax equity, and M&A transactions.
  • Experience managing deals and leading teams.
  • Strong intellectual curiosity and the ability to align legal strategies with client goals.
  • Excellent communication skills to translate business objectives into contract language.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited university.

Certifications

  • Bar admission in the jurisdiction of practice.
