Job Overview

A law firm seeks a mid-level project finance associate to join its team in Seattle, WA. The role involves working on debt and tax equity financings and related development for renewable energy assets, including solar, wind, and storage.

Duties

  • Support construction and term debt facilities and tax credit monetization transactions.
  • Assist in financing transactions, acquisitions, and joint ventures of projects and platforms.
  • Draft various financing and partnership agreements and related documents.
  • Conduct due diligence and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Requirements

  • JD and active bar membership in good standing; ability to gain admission where required.
  • Three to five years of experience in debt and tax equity project finance and M&A.
  • Experience in managing transactions, timelines, and facilitating closings.
  • Familiarity with tax equity structures and partnership tax concepts.
  • Excellent drafting, negotiation, communication, and project management skills.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

  • Active bar membership.
