Job Overview:
A well-established immigration law firm in Houston, Texas is seeking a full-time Immigration Attorney with at least three years of experience to manage a diverse caseload involving USCIS and EOIR matters. This position requires a bilingual (Spanish-English) attorney who thrives in a fast-paced environment, can work independently, and is committed to delivering high-quality legal services to immigrant communities. The role offers courtroom representation, client consultation, and full case lifecycle management.

Location:

  • Houston, TX

Duties:

  • Independently manage a full caseload of immigration matters

  • Conduct client consultations to evaluate potential immigration relief

  • Develop case strategies and prepare clients for USCIS and EOIR proceedings

  • Draft legal documents including motions, briefs, appeals, and affidavits

  • Prepare and submit immigration filings to USCIS and EOIR

  • Represent clients before Immigration Court and at interviews

  • Maintain thorough case documentation and communication

  • Participate in Saturday workdays as required

  • Perform other legal duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of verifiable experience in immigration law

  • Strong case management and organizational skills

  • Ability to work well independently and within a collaborative legal team

  • Availability to work some Saturdays as needed

  • Valid driver’s license required

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited U.S. law school

Certifications:

  • Active member in good standing with any U.S. State Bar

Skills:

  • Fluent in both Spanish and English (required)

  • Strong legal writing and oral advocacy skills

  • Excellent communication and client interaction abilities

  • Detail-oriented and able to manage high caseloads effectively

  • Proficient in preparing both affirmative and defensive immigration filings
