Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Litigation Associate with a minimum of two years of experience in real estate or commercial litigation to join their team in Parsippany, NJ. This role offers the opportunity to engage in diverse real estate litigation matters, including commercial lease disputes, foreclosures, and zoning appeals.

Duties

  • Draft and argue pleadings, motions, and briefs.
  • Handle complex real estate and land use disputes.
  • Conduct legal research and manage discovery processes.
  • Appear in court and participate in trial preparation.
  • Manage day-to-day case activities.

Requirements

  • Minimum of two years of New Jersey litigation experience.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven courtroom advocacy and analytical skills.
  • Experience with New Jersey land-use and zoning laws is a plus.
  • Admission to practice law in New Jersey; New York admission is a plus.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Licensed to practice law in New Jersey.
