Family Law Attorney

Job Overview:
A respected mid-sized law firm is seeking a full-time Associate Attorney to join its Family Law practice group in Camp Hill, Pennsylvania. This position offers a meaningful opportunity to support clients through sensitive legal matters including divorce, custody, and support cases. The ideal candidate will possess strong litigation skills, a proactive mindset, and a genuine interest in family law.

Location:

• Camp Hill, Pennsylvania

Duties:

• Represent clients in matters involving divorce, child custody, alimony, spousal and child support, equitable distribution, and adoption

• Prepare and file court documents in a timely manner

• Conduct legal research to support pleadings, motions, and briefs

• Draft pleadings, affidavits, settlement agreements, expert reports, and mediation statements

• Assist in discovery, deposition preparation, and overall trial preparation

• Attend court appearances and represent clients at trial and motion hearings

• Collaborate with clients and senior counsel to drive efficient case resolutions

• Maintain and update client files for accessibility and accuracy

• Partner with senior attorneys and marketing teams for client development and case strategy

• Contribute to meeting or exceeding billing requirements

Requirements:

• 1–4 years of experience in family law practice

• Trial experience at both common pleas and superior court levels

• Familiarity with Orphan’s Court and Prothonotary’s Office procedures

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to handle a fast-paced caseload with accuracy and professionalism

• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and maintain a client-focused approach

• Proven organizational and project management skills

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active license to practice law in the state of Pennsylvania

• Active Notary license (preferred but not required)

Skills:

• Legal writing and persuasive drafting

• Courtroom advocacy and litigation skills

• Proficiency with electronic filing systems (preferred)

• Experience with iManage document management system (preferred)

• Strong interpersonal and time management skills
