Duties

  • Draft, review, and revise legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
  • Represent clients in depositions, mediations, hearings, and trials.
  • Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to develop effective defense strategies.
  • Engage in settlement negotiations and alternative dispute resolution.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active Oregon license required; Washington license preferred.
  • 3+ years' experience in insurance defense law and/or civil litigation.
  • Experience in construction defect litigation, professional malpractice, or premises liability preferred.
  • Excellent research, analysis, and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Proven ability to manage caseload and work independently.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Active Oregon license required.
  • Active Washington license preferred.
