Job Title: Employment Law Attorney

Job Overview:

The position emphasizes employee representation, covering a spectrum of workplace disputes including FMLA violations, wage and hour infractions, discrimination claims, and sexual harassment cases. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing matters from intake through resolution, including litigation. Duties:

  • Represent employees in matters involving workplace misconduct, wage disputes, medical leave, and unlawful termination

  • Handle full case lifecycle from intake through trial, including pre-litigation strategy

  • Conduct legal research, draft motions, and prepare case files for hearings and trials

  • Participate in discovery, including depositions and interrogatories

  • Negotiate settlements and communicate regularly with clients regarding case progress

  • Appear before administrative bodies and in court on behalf of clients

  • Collaborate with internal staff to ensure effective and compassionate representation

Requirements:

  • Active license to practice law in the state of Florida

  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant legal experience (employment law or closely related litigation)

  • Demonstrated ability to manage caseloads and meet deadlines independently

  • Experience handling federal litigation preferred

  • Commitment to employee rights and workplace justice

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Admission to the Florida Bar (mandatory)
