Product, Tort, and Insurance Litigation Associate Attorney

A law firm in San Francisco is seeking a Product, Tort, and Insurance Litigation Associate Attorney with 3-5 years of litigation experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling various aspects of litigation, including written discovery, depositions, drafting pleadings and motions, attending mediations and court appearances, and trial assistance. Strong research and writing skills, along with a good academic record, are essential for this role.

Duties:

• Manage all phases of litigation from inception to resolution.
• Handle written discovery, including interrogatories, requests for production, and requests for admissions.
• Conduct and defend depositions of parties, witnesses, and experts.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
• Attend mediations, settlement conferences, and court appearances.
• Assist with trial preparation, including preparing witnesses and exhibits.
• Conduct legal research and analysis on case law, statutes, and regulations.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and internal team members.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the State Bar of California.
• 3-5 years of litigation experience, preferably in product, tort, or insurance litigation.
• Strong academic record.
• Excellent research and writing skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Education:

Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

Admission to the State Bar of California.
