Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Business Litigation Attorney in Wilmington, DE. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of defense civil litigation experience and be licensed to practice in Delaware. This role offers exposure to various practice areas, including director and officer liability, insurance coverage, employment law, and more. A license in Maryland and/or Washington D.C. is advantageous but not mandatory.

Duties

• Engage in all stages of complex, high-value cases.
• Conduct legal research and draft persuasive legal documents.
• Manage regular and electronic discovery processes.
• Appear in court and depose witnesses.

Requirements

• Admission to the Delaware Bar.
• 1-3 years of civil litigation experience.
• Strong legal research and writing skills.
• Willingness to become licensed in Maryland and/or Washington D.C.

Education

• JD degree from an accredited institution.
• MBA or business degree is a plus.

Certifications

• Admission to the Delaware Bar.
• Admission to Maryland and/or Washington D.C. Bar is a plus.
