Job Overview

A law firm seeks a talented Litigation Associate to join its New York City office. This role offers the opportunity to be part of a dynamic team within a firm of over 200 attorneys nationwide.

Duties

• Independently handle all aspects of litigation.
• Draft and respond to written discovery.
• Take and defend depositions.
• Prepare and argue motions.
• Participate in court conferences and oral arguments.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of defense litigation experience.
• Admitted to practice in New York.
• Superior academic credentials from a top-tier accredited law school.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, and other Microsoft Office products.
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects.
• Ability to identify and resolve problems quickly.

Education

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admitted to the New York State Bar.
