Duties

  • Represent veterans in VA disability claims and appeals.
  • Assist clients at all stages of the VA disability process.
  • Build and maintain strong attorney-client relationships.
  • Communicate regularly with clients and VA representatives.
  • Manage a steady caseload of hearings with integrity and skill.
  • Evaluate prospective clients for viable disability cases.
  • Support firm goals through effective communication and leadership.
  • Maintain focus on deadlines and timely task completion.
  • Report case developments to a partner attorney.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • VA Accreditation preferred; candidates may obtain post-hire.
  • Must have or obtain a PIV card within 30-60 days.
  • Licensed to practice law and in good standing with the State Bar.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience with VA claims or veteran advocacy.
  • Experience within the veteran community is highly preferred.
