Job Title: Securities Litigation Associate Attorney

Job Overview:
A prominent litigation-focused law firm based in New York City, NY is seeking a driven Associate Attorney to support its securities litigation practice. This role offers an opportunity to advocate for institutional investors in sophisticated legal actions concerning corporate misconduct and market transparency. Ideal candidates will possess a strong foundation in litigation strategy, a commitment to client representation on the plaintiff side, and the intellectual agility to navigate complex financial disputes. This is a hybrid opportunity combining in-office collaboration with remote work flexibility.

Duties:

  • Represent institutional clients in high-stakes securities litigation matters

  • Assist in all phases of litigation including investigation, drafting pleadings, motion practice, discovery, and trial preparation

  • Contribute to litigation strategy involving complex financial fraud and corporate governance violations

  • Conduct in-depth legal research and write memoranda, briefs, and court filings

  • Analyze corporate financial documents and market data to support case theories

  • Participate in client communications and support investor engagement activities

  • Collaborate across case teams and manage workload on multiple active matters

  • Take on a strategic and visible role in landmark securities class actions

Requirements:

  • 2-5 years of experience in complex commercial litigation, securities litigation, or class actions

  • Demonstrated ability to analyze financial and corporate documentation

  • Proficiency in legal research and drafting high-quality written work product

  • Strong time management and organizational skills, with the capacity to handle multiple active cases

  • A proactive mindset with the ability to take initiative and think strategically

  • Commitment to representing institutional investors and upholding financial integrity

Education:

  • Juris Doctor from an accredited law school (2020–2023 graduates preferred)

Certifications:

  • Admission to the New York State Bar (required)

Skills:

  • Advanced legal writing and research proficiency

  • Familiarity with securities regulations and corporate finance

  • Attention to detail in analyzing complex factual and legal issues

  • Strong interpersonal communication for client and team collaboration

  • Judicial clerkship experience (preferred but not required)

Job Location:

  • New York City, NY

  • Hybrid work schedule: 3 days in-office (Tuesdays and Wednesdays required), 2 days remote
