Duties:

• Manage client relationships, including carriers, and oversee case files with expertise in general liability.
• Lead and contribute to the success of the practice area by providing strategic guidance and handling complex litigation matters.
• Collaborate with fellow attorneys and support staff in a collegial team-oriented environment.
• Drive business development efforts, while benefiting from a firm structure that does not require a “book” of business for partnership consideration.
• Take on leadership roles and contribute to the firm’s continued growth and innovation.

Requirements:

• Proven experience at the partner level in general liability law.
• Strong capability in running files and managing client relationships and carrier interactions.
• Demonstrated job stability with excellent references from prior employers.
• Active membership in the California Bar and good standing.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Licensed to practice law in California, with membership in good standing.

Skills:

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and case-management skills.
• Proven leadership abilities and experience mentoring junior attorneys.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage high-pressure situations and complex legal issues.
• A proactive approach to business development and firm growth.
