A law firm in Boca Raton, FL is seeking an Adoption Associate Attorney to play a crucial role in supporting adoption litigation cases. The ideal candidate will conduct legal research, draft documents, assist in case preparation, and collaborate with the legal team to ensure successful outcomes. Prior experience in adoption law is a plus. The candidate must be licensed to practice in Florida or willing to become licensed.

 

Duties:

  • Conduct legal research on adoption laws, regulations, and precedents.
  • Draft and edit legal documents, correspondence, and reports.
  • Assist in case preparation and management.
  • Collaborate with the legal team to analyze and interpret complex legal issues.
  • Stay informed about changes in adoption laws and procedures.

 

Requirements:

  • Licensed to practice in Florida or willingness to become licensed.
  • Exceptional research and analytical skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in legal research tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Prior experience in adoption law is a plus.

 

Education & Certifications:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Florida Bar or eligibility for admission.
