Foreclosure Attorney

Job Overview:
A well-established real estate and foreclosure law firm located in Syosset, NY, is seeking a Foreclosure Attorney with at least 2 years of relevant experience. Location:

Duties:

• Draft and review foreclosure pleadings and related documents

• Oversee and coordinate with support staff to ensure timely case progression

• Attend court appearances as required

• Ensure compliance with applicable legal and procedural standards

• Utilize case management systems to maintain and update case statuses

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

• Admission to practice law in the State of New York (NYS Bar)

• Minimum 2 years of experience in foreclosure or real estate law

• Familiarity with legal software and platforms such as Black Knight (LPS), Tempo, and Lenstar is a plus

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.)

Certifications:

• Admitted to the New York State Bar

Skills:

• Foreclosure and real estate legal procedures

• Legal drafting and document review

• Case and staff management

• Familiarity with mortgage servicing platforms (preferred)
