A law firm seeks a Family Law Attorney in Dallas, TX. The ideal candidate will represent clients in various family law matters, including prenuptial agreements, divorce, alimony, and child support. Duties

  • Handle the division of marital assets during divorce proceedings.
  • Organize and maintain current client files.
  • Advocate for clients by understanding their needs and forming strategic plans.
  • Attend court proceedings to represent clients.
  • Communicate with senior partners and paralegals to progress cases.
  • Manage full case responsibilities from inception to resolution.
  • Develop strategic approaches and lead paralegals and legal assistants.
  • Work collaboratively with team members and cross-train as needed.
  • Cultivate relationships with existing and future clients.
  • Analyze case-specific legal issues and documentation.
  • Maintain excellent client rapport through consistent communication.

Requirements

  • Previous legal background preferred.
  • 1-2 years of experience in family law and real estate issues required.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills in stressful situations.
  • Proven success in advocating for plaintiffs and defendants.
  • Must have worked in Family Law for at least two years.
  • Licensed to practice law in Texas and in good standing with the State Bar of Texas.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree with a legal background.
  • J.D. degree required.

Certifications

  • Licensed to practice law in the State of Texas.
