Duties

  • Manage a caseload of workers' compensation matters from inception to resolution.
  • Conduct depositions, hearings, and trials as necessary.

Requirements

  • JD from an accredited law school and active California Bar license in good standing.
  • Minimum 5 years of applicant-side workers' compensation experience.
  • Thorough understanding of California WCAB procedures and relevant case law.
  • Strong litigation, negotiation, and client communication skills.
  • Organized, efficient, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, paperless environment.
  • Passion for justice and advocacy on behalf of injured workers.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Active California Bar license in good standing.
