Duties

• Advise clients on estate planning strategies, including tax minimization and creditor protection.
• Draft estate planning documents such as wills, trusts, and powers of attorney.
• Manage trust and estate administration, including asset collection and distribution.
• Prepare federal and state gift and estate tax returns.
• Represent clients in probate proceedings.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Licensed to practice law in Illinois.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in estate planning and probate.
• Experience with sophisticated trust planning strategies.
• Strong legal drafting and writing skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple matters and meet deadlines.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
