Job Overview:
A reputable personal injury law firm in Texas is seeking a dedicated and empathetic Pre-Litigation Attorney to join its team full-time. The successful candidate will manage a robust caseload, handle client communications, coordinate with providers and insurance companies, and play a key role in achieving favorable pre-litigation outcomes. This is an on-site role ideal for attorneys who are client-focused and value a collaborative work culture.

Location:

  • McKinney, TX

Duties:

  • Manage a full docket of pre-litigation personal injury cases

  • Conduct detailed intake interviews with prospective clients

  • Gather and analyze case-related evidence and documentation

  • Coordinate communications among clients, providers, and insurers

  • Oversee the preparation and processing of insurance claims

  • Negotiate settlements and assist in achieving favorable case resolutions

  • Collaborate closely with legal and support staff throughout case development

  • Maintain accurate records and case files

Requirements:

  • JD from an ABA-accredited law school

  • Active license to practice law in the state of Texas

  • Experience in personal injury law preferred

  • Solid understanding of pre-litigation processes and insurance negotiations

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree

Certifications:

  • Active and in good standing with the State Bar of Texas

Skills:

  • Strong legal research and analytical abilities

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Proven negotiation skills with an empathetic client approach

  • High attention to detail and strong organizational habits

  • Capable of managing high-volume caseloads under tight deadlines
