Partner-Level Attorney

Job Overview:
A law firm based in Tampa, FL, is seeking an experienced legal practitioner at the partner level to join its Real Estate practice group. This position is ideal for a seasoned attorney seeking a leadership role with a forward-moving legal team. The opportunity involves engaging with high-level real estate matters and contributing meaningfully to the growth and strategic direction of the practice.

Duties:

  • Lead and manage complex commercial and residential real estate transactions

  • Advise clients on land use, zoning, acquisitions, leasing, and financing matters

  • Negotiate, draft, and review a wide range of real estate contracts and related documents

  • Supervise junior legal staff and collaborate with cross-functional teams

  • Support business development efforts and maintain strong client relationships

  • Stay informed of legislative and regulatory changes affecting the real estate sector in Florida

Requirements:

  • Significant experience in real estate law, ideally at a senior or partner level

  • Established book of business or demonstrated client development history

  • Ability to independently manage a full caseload and client matters

  • Willingness to be admitted to the Florida Bar if not already a member

  • Bilingual capabilities, especially Spanish, are strongly preferred

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited U.S. law school

Certifications:

  • Active membership or eligibility for admission to The Florida Bar

Skills:

  • Advanced negotiation and contract drafting abilities

  • Exceptional analytical and organizational skills

  • Strategic thinking with a business-oriented approach
