This role is designed for an accomplished courtroom advocate who excels in handling high-stakes real estate disputes from intake through verdict. Duties:

• Lead complex litigation matters, particularly those involving commercial and real estate-related disputes

• Oversee all phases of litigation, including discovery, motion practice, and courtroom proceedings

• Serve as first-chair in trials and hearings before state and federal courts

• Formulate and implement litigation strategies that align with client goals and maximize trial outcomes

• Draft compelling briefs, motions, and legal memoranda with clarity and precision

• Engage in regular client communication, providing updates and strategic guidance

• Mentor junior attorneys and litigation staff to maintain a high-performing team

• Participate in business development initiatives and represent the firm in professional networks

• Maintain involvement in bar associations and litigation-focused legal communities

Requirements:

• Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in commercial litigation with significant trial exposure

• Demonstrated success leading complex matters independently

• Strong interest in real estate litigation or related practice areas

• Comfortable managing a full docket and balancing litigation deadlines

• Experience in managing and mentoring legal teams in a fast-paced litigation setting

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited U.S. law school

Certifications:

• Active license to practice law in the State of Texas

• Good standing with the Texas Bar
