Job Overview

A law firm seeks a junior to midlevel associate to join the Corporate M&A team in Seattle, WA. The ideal candidate will have two to five years of experience in M&A and corporate transactions, with a focus on providing high-quality client service and working collaboratively within a dynamic team environment.

Duties

  • Review, analyze, and draft transaction documents for M&A and private financing transactions.
  • Coordinate and manage due diligence review and processes, including collaboration with deal teams.
  • Advise clients on general corporate and entity matters, including drafting board and stockholder resolutions.

Requirements

  • Two to five years of relevant experience in M&A and corporate transactions.
  • Strong academic credentials and excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to coordinate with attorneys in other legal areas.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Admission to the bar in the state of Washington.
