A law firm seeks a tax associate to join its Affordable Housing and Tax Credit Team in Boston, MA. This position offers a unique opportunity for a lateral associate to be part of an expanding team that serves diverse client needs across multiple large markets.

Duties

  • Represent for-profit and nonprofit developers in affordable multifamily housing projects.
  • Engage in the development, acquisition, construction, and sale of housing projects.
  • Utilize federal, state, and local affordable housing programs.

Requirements

  • Experience in partnership tax and federal income tax credits preferred.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent follow-through.
  • Member in good standing of any state bar.

Education

  • Undergraduate degree in Accounting.
  • LLM in Taxation preferred.

Certifications

  • Bar membership in good standing.
