Job Overview

A law firm seeks a highly motivated senior-level associate or special counsel in Washington, DC, with a strong background in compliance with international trade laws, export controls, and sanctions regulations. Duties

• Conduct risk assessments and compliance audits related to export controls and sanctions.
• Liaise with government agencies and regulatory bodies on compliance matters.
• Support multi-national clients with solutions to complex, cross-border matters involving U.S. export controls and sanctions compliance.

Requirements

• Strong analytical abilities.

• Proven ability to organize, oversee, and prioritize multiple assignments and projects simultaneously.

Education

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school with top academic credentials.

Certifications

• Bar admission in the attorney's resident and/or affiliated office.
