Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Litigation Associate Attorney in Bloomington, MN. The successful candidate will collaborate with real estate litigation attorneys to support clients in various real estate, construction, land use, and environmental disputes. Candidates should have two to four years of experience in commercial, business, or real estate litigation and be admitted to practice in Minnesota.

Duties

  • Conduct legal research and analysis, including investigating facts and researching laws.
  • Draft pleadings, motions, complaints, and other legal documents.
  • Assist with discovery, manage document production, and conduct depositions.
  • Appear in court for hearings and trials; draft and argue motions.

Requirements

  • Two to four years of litigation and/or real estate experience preferred.
  • Licensed to practice law in Minnesota.
  • Efficient and concise research and writing skills.

Education

  • Juris Doctor degree from an accredited U.S. law school.

Certifications

  • Licensed to practice law in the state of Minnesota.
