Job Overview: A well-established law firm is seeking experienced Workers' Compensation Defense Attorneys to join their team in handling cases across Northern, Southern, and Central California regions. The ideal candidates will have 3+ years of experience in workers' compensation defense, with the ability to manage a full caseload of cases of varying complexity. This is a fully remote position offering a competitive salary.

Location:

  • Glendale, CA.

Duties:

  • Manage a diverse caseload of workers' compensation defense cases.
  • Represent clients in workers' compensation matters, including claims and litigation.
  • Provide expert legal counsel and advice to clients regarding workers' compensation claims.
  • Draft and review legal documents, including motions, pleadings, and settlement agreements.
  • Appear in hearings and trials as necessary.
  • Negotiate settlements and assist with case strategy development.
  • Maintain clear communication with clients and colleagues, ensuring case progress is tracked and updates are provided.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in workers' compensation defense.
  • Strong understanding of California workers' compensation laws and regulations.
  • Proven experience managing a full caseload of workers' compensation cases.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote work environment.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active license to practice law in California.

Skills:

  • Expertise in workers' compensation defense.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
